Freebie is Thunderstorm, with wood sage and sea salt on top, and I don’t know how they captured a thunderstorm, but they did!! This fresh marine based scent perfectly captures that aquatic, earthy aroma that comes after a heavy downpour. With hints of citrus, leading to an excellent blend of wood, salt, spiciness and sweetness.

Usually each Halloween I like to make sure I buy some new gothic, Halloween’s, horror make up. And this year I opted for the Plouise Sept budget box which arrived second week of October. (Exactly while we were away and busy) so sadly it couldn’t be used or taken on holiday)

It was a mystery which of the two Hocus Pocus Halloween palettes you’d get, but you’d get one palette and some lip balm and oil. (I gave those away to my daughter so I can’t review or show here) the budget box cost £30 but the palette alone is £35 with other products ranging from £10 to £18 each making the value of the box over £50 so worth taking the risk on.

It has a metal heart lock and key, you have to unlock the padlock to gain entry. Palette is shaped like a bound book, with a huge mirror and 18 shades on the front. Turn the book over and open at the back you have another huge full length mirror and another 18 shades, we have shimmers, Matte, and Glitters, with transition shades too. Huge value for money.

Honestly I would have preferred the Black book as some shades are so like my Jeffree Star Cremated Palette, and it’s darker over all, but I will either buy it at a later date, using black Friday deals, or just brave some colours for once!

I will say they can stain pretty bad, especially reds and purples, took some shifting with make up wipes. But all deep reds and purples stain.

Not the best photos but I’m new to that. I used the colours Grave Danger an orange, and Spell Check the gold glitter. Ghoul gang darkest burgundy for eye liner.

I did a code orange post of things I had bought for my everyday decor, but from the Halloween range at Asda.

Well I bought a few more things, and I was gifted a few things too. My good friend sent me some metal spiders, a Beware sign, scream mask gemstone, and day of the dead glow in the dark tattoo.

Feeling extremely happy with these, I tend to go for long lasting, not cheesy Halloween, Horror, Goth decor and I feel these have longevity in them, and will be used daily. Is this my last lot of buying from Halloween ranges? Not sure…..

Loved this on site, I had been eyeing up a fleece blanket with mushrooms on, but that sold out so fast. I then spotted this real wool blanket and loved the design. It’s so super soft, a real snuggle blanket.

On the 8th July I had my initial appointment with Sapphire, you pay £50 for this as it’s a Private Clinic and it’s done over zoom. Admittedly I was nervous, but it went well, with describing my pain levels, what medication I’m already on, and my hopes for cannabis to help.

First off I’m not a smoker, I was a cigarette smoker years ago, so no desire to smoke ever again. I also have a hatred for vapes. So oil is what I wanted to go for, and a possibility of a balm in the future.

I have tried CBD oils in various strengths and while they help with relaxation and sleep, the pain element isn’t strong enough. So time to try thc in the cbd.

I have to wait for the prescription to come through, and pay for that, and I believe the courier comes pretty quickly. So i should have the oil by next week. The courier’s will only deliver to you at your door, so you can’t be out that day, as it will not be left on the doorstep.

After the Sophie Hannah Hair Dye not really staying in, I was soon on the hunt for a new dye. I will continue to Sophie Hannah as I have loads left, to brighten up dye between dye times. As it’s incredibly nourishing for the hair.

First impressions is excellent, the smell is like Hubba Bubba sweets, I could seriously sniff this all day!! Went on easy enough, with bowl and tint brush (Mr Moon) did it for me. I sat with it on for 3 and a half hours. It didn’t annoy me, or drip. I used a plastic bag and towel to have a warm head.

Really impressed with how it covered the various tones and pulled it all together into a more combined tone. Looking forward to seeing how well it stays in.

One week and one wash later it looks like this now. So far so good. With it straightened I feel you can see the colour better as well.

I got myself some nice false nails, but it’s debatable if I’ll wear for Beltane at Thornborough, as that is camping, however they are beautiful and it’s nice to have them available for upcoming days out or events. They are all from Shein, I bought online as around here, good prices press on nails are just not available if you love a more alternative style.
