Now I saw this online a day or two before mine arrived, so it wasn’t a surprise. And I saw a tonne of negative comments too. And while some are valid, ie brands that have popped up over and over again in these boxes, I didn’t agree with some other comments, but it’s personal isn’t it. I have to say I’m actually really pleased with mine. It couldn’t be more suited to me if they tried.

Lottie London Ready Set Go Setting Powder in Shade Brightening Pink 5grams RRP £3.95 Brightening Pink can visibly brighten under the eyes due to the slight rosy hue, that’s close to translucent. Help set your foundation for a crease free finish. Super fine milled.

I have the banana version, so I can’t wait to try the pink one, as I wouldn’t buy it to try necessarily, so how better to try new things. Buy similar Here

Grüum Hydrat Moisture Massage Bar 35g RRP £12.00 A velvety massage bar that will help aches and pains and ease dry skin, with a replenishing blend of moisturising cocoa seed butter, with lavender, neroli, and rosemary essential oils. Also added is a sunflower seed oil which is packed with ceramics that help repair damage done by environmental factors, while locking in moisture, combined with orange oil that’s rich in vitamin c and has antibacterial properties.

This is perfect timing for surgery, both before surgery and afterwards. This would have been bought specifically for surgery recovery, so it’s saved me a job. Buy here

Aromatherapy Associates De Stress Gel Muscle Rub 40ml RRP £8.00 Using a blend of energizing Rosemary, warming Ginger and soothing Lavender essential oils, this gel will sooth, refresh and hydrate tired muscles and feet. I love this after walking in the hills, a great why to revitalise the soles of the feet, and I rub into the hips too, as they get so sore and achy.

Again this is something I buy anyways, so yes it’s not new to me trying, it’s a holy grail of mine. Buy here

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt 40ml £15.00 I saw most comments about this being in the box along with the gel above, as they are often repeated. However I was chuffed. I’ve used Christophe Robin Rose extracts shampoo before and I adored it, so I have high hopes for this. But I am concerned on the stripping of my pink hair colour?? So maybe try it just before I need to redye it anyways.

They say it’s a best selling detox shampoo that rebalances and purifies sensitive and oily scalps, by removing daily build up, to leave the hair fresh feeling and shiny looking. The sea salt is an effective natural exfoliant, while the grains are a microcirculation stimulates the scalp. Buy here

Spectrum Collections B06 Tall Tapered Blender Brush RRP £6.00 This blending friend is the perfect tool for applying and blending eyeshadows seamlessly. This coveted brush is crafted with super soft fluffy bristles, soft and gentle for the eye skin area. Beautiful blue and purple brush head, and pale pink wooden handle.

It’s coming up to Samhain so I knew I would be looking forward to this box immensely. And the theme this time is manifestation magick.

First up is a Natural Raw Citrine Pendant, Citrine is a powerful stone for manifestation and willpower. The grounding energies of the stone will encourage new ideas, new beginnings, and set you on the path to realise your dreams and wishes.

The Crystal of the month is Pyrite, one I don’t already have which is nice to add a new one to my arsenal. Commonly used for abundance and prosperity. Also aids in protection, and believed to be a lucky stone.

The spell for the month is Manifestation of course, it came with Dandelion leaf, Rosemary and an Orange candle.

Which perfectly goes into the next item. The Candle holder. It has a lovely bowl around it to add your herbs or salts or oils as you cast your spell.

Pictured with the holder is the cutest altar bell I’ve ever seen. A bell is often used to signal the beginning and end of rituals, but can be used to cleanse and banish too. Ring to clear negative energies.

Magickal intention cards, cards to help aid your manifesting, choose to suit your desire, use as part of a spell or ritual. I pulled Presence straight away, something my brain struggles with. Yoga has been helping too.

A journal has been included, gorgeous embossed design, here you can jot down your dreams and wishes you want to manifest, and date it, include how you can help yourself mundanely, and how you can magickally.

To finish up we have a scroll which has the moon phases to aid your magickal workings. As using the moon phases properly will greatly aid them. Also pictured with the scroll is the incense this month. Blended with Patchouli and Orange, both known for their powers of manifestation.

The enamel pin this month is a gorgeous Pentacle pin, known for its protection properties, it also represents the Five Elements, Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Spirit, the five things essential to life, the circle contains and protects the points, and also connects them together.

The art print this month is beautiful and shows some magickal workings going on. Perfect to put on your altar or frame.

Another month and it’s Witch Casket time. My favourite time of the month, I really look forward to it. A tad late this month due to our Royal Mail strikes and then of course due to the Death of our Queen too. But better late than never.

This month’s theme is Spiritual Connections. So think Intuition, Tarot, Tea Leaves, Spell Jars and such like.

The First 2 items I unpack I was super excited over, a Wax Seal (with the all seeing eye) and 2 wax candles to use to stamp. I have always wanted one of these, I can’t wait to play with them.

Beautiful Tarot Bag in thick canvas has nestled inside a Slate Altar Tile with Tarot cards and hand symbols. I will be using this under my brass holder where I burn my charcoals.

A little snap shut magnetic close box, beautifully decorated with all seeing eye. Inside is the ingredients to make your own spell jar,to increase your spiritual intuition. Tiny Key, Lavender, and Amethyst chips and Tiny bottle included.

Some craft paper envelopes with pentacle symbols to pop crystals and herbs inside for spell work.

Art Print of a Lock which is perfectly on theme, ties in nicely with the Key pin badge.

Some incense sticks were tucked nicely inside and the information scroll. And finally the crystal of the month is one I’ve never had before a Lepidolite.

And can we get over this amazing Mug!! Tarot cards and Tea Leaves. It’s so beautiful, with crystals, keys, locks, as its design.

All jam packed and so beautifully packaged. It felt like a real treat. Hot chocolate is going to be amazing in this cup, and could it be any more fitting for me as a Tarot reader.

It’s a last box (I think so) but what a box to end on. The theme is Hydration, Hydrated skin is happy skin.

I’ve been on the beach so skin is needing the extra hydration this box will provide.

This is a monthly subscription, I’ve paid for 12 months so mine is £13.00 per month. It’s £15.00 a month if you rather do monthly. Or £14.50 a month if you do 3 monthly plans or £13.75 for 6 months. So it’s affordable and flexible.

This month’s theme is getaway, and while I have no long distance tropical plans, I do still enjoy summer nights out, and mini breaks in this country. Admittedly mainly camping, but these items are still appropriate.

First up it’s not a box, which I’m so pleased with, I love these clear bags. Perfect for toiletries camping or aboard.

First item I gave away immediately as I had no use for it. It’s a #Ciate Glow to Highlighter 6g. It’s a beautiful shade and shimmer but as I don’t wear highlighter it would be wasted on me.

I swapped that with my daughter to have her #BondiSands SPF 50 10ml suncream as I have Polymorphic Light Eruption. IE I’m allergic to the sun and UV rays, so more factor 50 the better for me.

Then we have #WeAreParadox 3 in 1 hair treatment 30ml, it can be used as a hair conditioner as normal after shampooing, or add to towel dried hair as a leave in conditioner, or on dry hair as a styling cream. So many options I feel this is an essential for holidays.

One item I was super excited about was the #Gruum Purifying Charcoal cleansing bar 50g A zero plastic cleansing bar which detoxes the skin leaving it feeling clearer, brighter and smooth. Perfect small bar to pack nice and light, this is a camp perfect item.

#RitualOfKarma Body shimmer oil 30ml a beautiful and decadent body oil with tiny shimmering mineral particles that catch the light and sun, to give you the most gorgeous shimmer. What a summer night out essential, look glamorous and sun kissed.

My final item is the #SolDeJanerio Bum Bum cream 25ml the holy grail of most influencers and bloggers alike. I’ve never tried it before, and my legs well after 6 enormous scars on my legs and buttocks, I’m keen to see how this feels, and I obviously have cellulite too. The smell is divine!!

I’m absolutely loving this month’s, after a few meh months it feels good to be excited to try new brands and products. If I wore highlighter I would adore the ciate one, and I have too many as it is, and wear them as eyeshadows. This month there isn’t a single boring item for me.

I have another 5 months of these boxes before the subscription runs out, so it’s intriguing to know what I will get in each box. I decided to end the subscription as I like to have breaks to use up the products I have received, and to not hoard too much too.

Australian Body care Tea Tree Oil 10ml RRP £8.99

100% pure antiseptic Tea Tree Oil is a complex mixture combing up too 150 different natural components. Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner 50ml RRP £7.50

A must have for sensitive and delicate skin, this has a calming affect. This toner will help maintain the natural pH level while not using alcohol or other harsh detergents. It’s gently infused with soothing extracts of Apricot, Sweet Betty Flower and Saponins from Quillaja Wood, the hydrating formula will sooth and balance the skin whilst leaving it looking and feeling fresh and radiant. It also acts as the first layer of hydration and aids in the penetration of the moisturiser or night cream.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Booster 20ml RRP £4.50

What is the Philip KingsleyElasticizer Booster? Well it is an intensive conditioner, designed to complement and enhance Philip Kingsley’s award-winning Elasticizer pre-shampoo treatment. Packed with olive fruit oil and yeast and chia extracts, use this rich conditioner to help prolong the effects of your weekly Elasticizer treatment, or to add a boost to your normal conditioner. I swear by Philip Kingsley Elasticizer shampoo, so I’m excited to try this too.

Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel 40ml RRP £7.00

I needed this. Looking forward to trying this De-Stress Muscle Gel. Which apparently first cools inflamed muscles then it before imparting a deep, comforting warmth. Ingredients are an invigorating Black Pepper combined with a warming Ginger which make the perfect antidote to an intense workout, a demanding day, or in-flight heavy legs, leaving muscles soothed and relaxed. Let’s see if my back pain and psoas pain can be eased off.

Decorté Lipsome Advanced Serum 12ml RRP £21.99

Leading Skincare specialists, this serum comes naturally to Decorté, and the brand’s latest formulation is set to be hugely popular, as this will leave your skin looking reborn, smooth, hydrated and bouncy with the Liposome Advanced Repair Serum. Works from the deep cellular level, this vegan friendly formula uses multilayer bio-liposomes to form a lamellar structure that repairs and prevents skin disorders. It Provides a deeply moisturised feeling, the serum uses phospholipids to ensure your youthful glow lasts as the capsules gradually dissolve throughout the day. It’s pricey and I bet I will fall in love with it too. But worth having a treat now and then.

Avant Hyalu Replenish Lip Balm 10ml RRP £56.00

I’m in a quandary with Avant, as the prices are ridiculous, yet I only ever see them in boxes, are they specifically created for boxes alone? Or are they sold in their own right? Who is paying £56.00 for 10ml of a lip balm? But I can’t lie I have always absolutely loved each Avant product too. For satin-smooth, hydrated lips, this lip balm will leave lips irresistibly soft, youthful and nourished, perfectly kissable! It combines the ingredients of Hyaluronic Acid and Cupuacu Butter.
Hyaluronic Acid aims to penetrate deeply into the lips to hydrate and instantly help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth.
Cupuacu is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, fatty and amino acids. Being from the cocoa family, Cupuacu aims to improve the tone and texture of your lips whilst protecting them against damage caused by free radicals.

Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturiser 6ml (no price or info was given)

This felt like a cop out product, not sure if it was a meant to be a box of 5 items and this is a freebie, or what. There was no explanation. But 6ml is tiny, it’s a one use wonder, so you can’t really test whether you like it or not, or how the skin behaves. I’m sure it’s lovely but I was disappointed in the size. Even if it’s a freebie.

Box value if I discount the price tag of Avant and made it more sensible, is around £58.00 but they price it at £106.00 for £13 a month is definitely worth it. But I do feel the quality has gone downhill slightly since Brexit and the availability of products and brands getting slimmer.
