The Bottle Bin they launched The Bottle Bin over 5 years ago during their recovery from ME/CFS. And while they are still recovering they find being self-employed and working to their own schedule helps immensely. Gaining inter-transferable skills whilst serving within the RAF, and many years retail management experience has assisted the in setting up The Bottle Bin.

As I countdown towards our big holiday month of October, I’ve been buying and making a few pieces to take with us.

Our first holiday/getaway is a week long in Boscastle, a cute little cottage, with log fire to warm us up after some coastal walks we have planned. There’s no wi-fi while there, so I have a few things to occupy us while there.

It’s Samhain season, so the best time of the year to buy Halloween, alternative things that become my everyday things around the house or clothes to wear.

First up is my Hekate Wheel T-Shirt by #DoveAndBear, I have had my eye on this for the longest time. The first deity I researched on my path and one who gives great comfort too. Many honour her around Samhain as she represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

100% cotton t-shirt and the embroidery is a quality size, like the palm of my hand. I can’t wait to get more, I’ll be honest. Especially the Goddess and Labyrinth one, as they remind me of the Dark Gathering in Boscastle, and Rock Valley Way.

For Mr Moon I chose a Sigil from Ars Goetia, it’s a sigil for Bael, he goes by many names but generally the King of Hell, and of all Demons. It reminds me of Ibiza and the film Ready or Not. I love sigils, so this one stood out to me.

Next up is a Halloween Collection jewellery box by #Mysticumluna, as soon as this was advertised I knew I had to have it. It’s simply perfect. And what better to house my jewellery from them, in such a cute box.

For something different I got some #Snagtights I’ve heard so many rave over them, I had to Snag myself a pair! I wanted to try as I have a lot of scars, dents and lumps from the 10 hip surgeries I’ve had. Previous tights have not been soft enough for this extra sensitive skin, which reduced me to leggings only. I still only wear jeans for limited times due to their seams. If you’ve been following for a while, you will know I sell Sterling Silver Chakra Jewellery. As I don’t like jewellery that doesn’t have longevity and wearability, it’s needs to be able to get wet at time, in case you decide to stand in the waterfall, or take that wild swim.

But I understand Sterling silver can be expensive too, they are listed here So I’ve been looking for alternatives, and I’ve settled on Waxed Cord and Stainless Steel. I’ve worn them over the weeks and I’m happy they are practical and wearable. But I haven’t managed to list these yet, they will be £5 for the Waxed Cord, and £7 Stainless Steel ones.

I feel it makes them less dainty than the Sterling Silver ones and perhaps more accessible to Men too. Below is the Sterling Silver ones.

Well it’s been a boring weekend really, but the slow pace has been needed. The only necessity has been the Yoga being done each day, even weekends. Grateful for this time of mindfulness and meditation.

I’ve also been adding to my Etsy shop, doing jewellery while I can, while steroid injections are working enough. Getting some witchy, pagan pieces created.

Made the mushrooms specifically for a Faery Fayre in Glastonbury next month, as the theme is Flora,Fauna and Fungi. So magic mushrooms are the ones I’ll be wearing.

I have a lot of pagan friends and witchy friends, so another load of witchcraft themed jewellery was created too.

And of course I can’t help but be inspired by my new yoga journey, which is more than a way to work out, it’s a whole spiritual chakra balancing journey for me. Most of my jewellery is costume jewellery, but these Chakra Pieces are Sterling Silver 925 as I wanted them to be timeless classics.

So that’s me for a while I would say, as it really does take it out of me. And the left hand particularly is stinging day and night, even with a brace. Honestly I can’t wait to get this hand surgically fixed now, I’m moving passed the scared of it phase.
